Principles Of Newspeak

Newspeak was developed for the purpose of eliminating rebellious thoughts or words. There are no negative terms in newspeak but anything considered bad is called "doubleplus ungood."

It is the philosophy that all is good. There is no evil. Big Brother is good and so are the beliefs behind it. Those living in a world that think is "doubleplus ungood" can only be those who are rebellions and are against what the party stands for. This is when Big Brother steps in and tried to make things good, rather than negative, although using negative force, they see it as something good because they are curing the "doubleplus ungood" people.

At the end of the story, someone who is so against everything in society soon becomes a follower. He will now live in a society of strict rules and newspeak. He will not think or talk negatively of the party or he will be tortured once again and possibly killed. He has learned to live in a society of "doubleplus ungood," which is considered "good" in Oceania.

+ Nevertheless, the body basically support your intro.
- needs to expand more about the topic
- your conclusion doesn't really mirror your introduction. It talks about how a person becomes a follower of newspeak, while your intro talks about how negative words are being eradicated in newspeak.

+ Good descriptions of ‘doubleplus good’, etc
+ Nice concluding sentence
- You could have elaborated your intro paragraph
- There was no attention grabber

Again as I've said before, your ideas are awesome and you have some really good writing. You just have to make it a bit smoother and put a little more detail into it. Other than that, this post was awesome and the last line really sealed the deal.
